Online Course Time: Oct 27^th - 31^st & Nov 3^rd - 7^th  2025 (Monday - Friday each week) 10am - 11.15 am each day.

This annual course has been very successful and popular with artists. They have found it incredibly helpful and informative for their practise; enabling them to break out of feeling stuck and then onto producing personal and exciting work with confidence and renewed curosity and energy. It is all about motivating artists to get working in their studio every day, for 10 days. With daily input from Emily as your Paint Fit Trainer, the course will encourage you to make a positive commitment to your practice and instil a daily work ethic that will become an essential part of your painting routine.

Nov 9^th - 13^th 2025 (Sunday – Thursday)

Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm

Autumn begins and Nature slows. As a celebratory finale the colours and majestic shapes of Autumn trees illuminate the landscape; often framed with a slate grey or sharp, clear, pale blue sky. Ornate tapestries of reds, oranges, yellows, browns, greens and purples appear in the canopies that reach skyward and spread out like hanging skirts. This 5 day course is all about capturing and exploring these qualities in drawing and painting.

These sessions are designed for artists who need encouragement and support to become more confident and self-motivated with their painting.

Course Dates: 26^th- 28^th November  2025 (Wednesday - Friday)

Katie loves and has used the subject of still life in one way or another in her work for a very long time. However, it is always as a reflection of her own domestic space and life rather than the staged set up of perfect flowers, an elegant bottle, a poised book. Her practise of using meditation within teaching ties in perfectly with her interest in the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi Sabi. The perfect imperfection of daily life are noticed and celebrated; the washing up bowl, the discarded socks on the floor, the accidental shadow between the washing up liquid hand soap and a jam jar on the kitchen window sill. The dead flowers in a vase. The beauty of the everyday. The impermanence of it all.

Course Dates: 1^st- 3^rd December  2025 (Monday - Wednesday )

What is Landscape? Perhaps it could be thought of as material and space subject to the processes of nature. Gravity, light, temperature, atmospherics, growth and decay. Many artists seek to exploit the parallels that exist between the processes of landscape and those of painting. The pushing and pulling, the dribbling, soaking and eroding, the generative and destructive and with the artist’s body as a force of nature operating dynamically within the ‘field’ of painting.

Course Dates: 4^th- 5^th December  2025 (Thursday - Friday)

Embodied Drawing - An experimental 2 day drawing course embracing the physicality of drawing on a large scale - using your own body, gesture and sensation as your subject. Using the generous space of the Seawhite studio there is almost no limit as to how large you can go.
