Painting from Drawing

 This course another opportunity to do Simon’s exciting course but this time condensed into 3 days. On this course he will share his working process. Students will look at the ‘to and fro’ process of drawing outdoors and painting in the studio. Starting with observational drawing students will see how the act of drawing can provide a language for studio painting. Conversely they will see how the painting process alters the kind of drawings that need to be made. Each day there will be time to make drawings as well as time to develop a larger studio painting.
