A solo show of Emily’s work, focusing on two themes that have inspired her most recent paintings. ROADSCAPES is a body of work that has been inspired by her drive to work at the studio; the road, shadows, light, signs, wires, trees, spaces witnessed from a moving car. The paintings that form the LANDSCAPES AND TREES collection represent a return to painting from Nature for Emily. Inspired by her brother’s garden in Monmouthshire, these paintings are hugely atmospheric and speak of Emily’s profound engagement with her subject.
