New Course

A practical course which will look at the professional aspects of painting, something which is commonly overlooked but vital in terms of exhibiting your work. The course will start by providing you with the fundamental skills needed to make exhibition standard supports and surfaces. During the course students will also experiment using a number of grounds and explore some of the different qualities of surfaces needed for painting. This part of the course is aimed to encourage students to think about how to use grounds and adapt them in the context of their own work.
