Dear  ‍Visitor ‍

This is an open invitation for you to come and celebrate all that the Seawhite Studio offers artists!  Next week Emily is hosting an Open Studio Event for three days (Tuesday -Thursday).  It’s an informal event, with the intention of touching base with students past, present and future: a chance for you to share your painting news and to refamiliarize yourself with the fantastic studio space, and for us to show off the revamped studio and tell you about the exciting programme of courses we have coming up.

So join Emily for a cup of tea, a slice of cake and catch up – it’s been too long!  We look forward to welcoming you back.

The studio will be open from 9am – 4pm  on Tuesday 31st May, Wednesday 1 June and Thursday 2nd June

“Opening my studio for 3 days is really about welcoming people back to the studio, it is about letting people have a look at my painting process, materials and work in progress. Rather than exhibiting the work in a formal way this is an opportunity to see the paintings and studies I make -  and how I unpack a subject.“ (Emily Ball)

"The studio has had a 'face lift' so feels bigger and lighter. More than ever, it is a tempting and exciting a space to work in.  I feel refreshed and energised by the changes both in my own work and through the exciting programme of courses that are being created to reflect this new chapter in the studio.“ (Emily Ball)

Come and say hello; talk about painting and eat cake.

The cake baking begins in earnest at the weekend!‍
